Kodyray Geronimo Mukaday Bijiw Munoz Jones, better known to his growing fanbase as Angelic Root, has dedicated his life to music. He has produced and released forty-five singles, all original mixes up to 2 hours long, and four EP’s. His most recent EP 'Motion' was released on Deep, Dark & Dangerous at the end of 2019 and shot to number 2 on the Beatport charts. Kody began playing guitar at the young age of six, which sparked the dream of pursuing music as a career. He started playing shows with his band at the age of 14, which introduced him to live performances. With roots in reggae dub, psychedelic rock, and a strong interest in dubstep, deep house, and experimental tones, Kody began making music that combines all of these under the alias Angelic Root. He produces with the goal of finding a balance between the genres that inspire his music in order to create a fresh, developed sound in the bass community that makes people want to get down. The 21-year-old producer routinely finds inspiration from his Michigan home, Native American culture, and yoga training, all of which remind him to stay centered, stay present, and never stop pursuing the dream.
